At some point one may question their existence. By asking the question, is there a purpose in life, you may find that it is something to ponder. Some people just live their lives without dwelling on this too much, but others are always thinking about this. Some say that you shouldn't think too much because it can lead to emotional stress.

God is meant to be the creator and heaven is the place that one will enter after death.
Eastern thoughts are rather different and they look forward to a life where one will go into a state of reincarnation. This includes complete karma. They work towards this in various ways, so that at the end of their lives they will be completely fulfilled.
