Planning for your wedding is overwhelming as you will be in constant fear of failing. Whether modern or traditional marriage you will need to invest a lot of time in planning for it. Many people opt for wedding planners who are costly to hire. Avoid spending a lot of money paying planners yet you can plan for your marriage ceremony successfully. The following steps will help you make a wedding planning binder that will be instrumental in making your big day memorable.

Early preparation is a precursor to success. After accepting that much waited marriage proposal, it is time to start organizing if you want to make your day a success. Consult friends who have had successful marriage ceremonies and gather relevant information. The Internet can also yield results that will play an instrumental role in your planning.

After researching widely, you now have a choice for a binder. Buy yourself a super cute book that matches your personality, class and style. If you like classic white or butterfly binder or any other, the choice is yours. At this time you can involve a friend, as two are better than one. Different binders have unique ports where rings are attached. In some the rings are attached to the spine while in others, they are attached at the back of the binder. Ensure that you choose the most appropriate one.

With your binder ready, it is time to get dividers. Not all binders will have dividers, but you can always improvise it. Dividers are important in marking each session for quick reference. In case you do not have dividers, you can use different colors to mark the end or begging of a new section. Divide your planner book to have sections such as important sections, attire, stationery, registry, bridal showers, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, decor and honeymoon.

Now that you have decided on the topics to include in your wedding binder, it is time to search for checklists and worksheets. Although you might think that you have factored in all the aspects to guarantee a great marriage ceremony, some crucial steps and ideas may be forgotten. With that said, it becomes crucial to use checklists from various websites to make sure you capture all the steps.

At this point, you have a lot of information and events for your big day. Take your time and remove or add some events that are appropriate for you. You may not need all the information obtained from the checklists and thus, it is essential to eliminate some details that do not fit your wedding. At this point, you can also create sections for attaching pictures that are important for your marriage day such as wedding dresses and bridesmaid dress.

At this point, you are almost ready for your marriage day. Take your time and rearrange the list of events in a manner that fits your event. Again, involve your inner circle friends to ensure that events flow in a manner that makes sense.

Your wedding planning book is now ready. Relax and watch as events unfold as planned. Give a copy of this plan to a friend who is in charge of implementing the plan. Rehearsals should begin in time and any changes to the plan should be made early.
