This is because there are two people in a marriage, yet you can only control one of them and that is yourself. The number one reason is unfaithfulness. This is true in so many marriages. There are many things in the marriage that couples can work through and ultimately reach common ground, however, this is not one of them. So couples would prefer to break their ties and move on with their life either alone with in search of a more faithful partner.

It is a common thing in life to go through this. Some people boil it down to life and how it all happens. However, if you do what you are supposed to in life and not what you are not supposed to, things like this may very well be avoided. However, the onus is on you to be responsible with your partner and this includes being honest as well.

This sin something that can be unpleasant, however it is very much a part of life and people must go through it. Other alternatives include counseling before making that final decision or any other solutions that you think could save your marriage from that final and extremely unpleasant fate.
